@regberadaisy: In the front, it's about 6 - 7 inches above my knee. In the back, it covers my butt (but I do have a small butt, lol) by about 2 - 3 inches. I'm 5'7".

@Periwinkle: I can't think if I've done a cardigan, but I've definitely worn jackets over them. I've actually usually worn a coordinating/complimentary long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve underneath!
