Do ring slings work well for hip carries with older babies? LO is almost 9 months and about 18lbs

@redsmarties: I have no idea. I used it briefly when LO was an infant. I think it can be used for older infants. I'm not well versed in carriers, so maybe asking the Bee would provide a better answer.

@redsmarties: For what it's worth in the future, I use this same Maya wrap with my 17 month old for hip carries. I find it uncomfortable to have all of her weight on my shoulder for long periods of time, but I keep it around for errands without a stroller or clingy cooking times. I'd say I can wear her comfortably for 20-30 minutes per shoulder. I'm also 13 weeks pregnant and already have sciatica, so you might be tougher than I
