for sale: Unused, Unopened Domperidone

I have several unused, unopened boxes of domperidone (a drug sometimes indicated for increasing milk supply while breastfeeding). I took domperidone almost from the beginning to deal with chronically low supply. I ended up ordering more than I needed the last time I ordered, and since we've finally weaned off of it now that Lorelei is older, I'd love to see it not go to waste. I have five boxes that were never used or opened. Asking $30 shipped.

I would've scooped this up in a heartbeat last year - I paid $180 for mine!
worked incredibly well, doubled my pumping totals at work

@RachieCakes;Yeah, it helped my supply lots as well. Enough so that I sort of stock-piled it (as you can see). I'm hoping that it will help some other mama, though!

@rachiecakes: @Mrs. Twine: wow. I only heard about this when I was already almost done with pumping. I was under the impression this is prescription only and/or not fully approved by the FDA though?

I def want to look into it for #2 if my supply is still what it is with #1.

@regberadaisy: I got a prescription from my LC (my OB couldn't prescribe it but the LC could..?). I had to go to a compounding pharmacy and my insurance didn't cover it.

@Mrs. Twine: Did you have any side effects from it? DH and I looked into it but were concerned about risks.

@MaisyMay; I had horrible side effects with Reglan when I took it when Ellie was a baby (didn't know about domperidone then), but had zero side effects on the domperidone. And I am way prone to side effects (like I had to get my copper IUD removed after only a month because of horrible joint pain and hair loss that was a reaction to the copper).

@Mrs. Twine: when does it expire?
I'm not even pregnant, so I won't buy it unless a week or so from now, it is still unsold. I want it to go to someone who NEEDS it NOW.

With #1-I lost my supply entirely by 12w and am still devastated. I plan to start TTC #2 in about 8w or so (starting next cycle), and I am determined not to lose my supply again with #2.

@Turtledoves; It expires July of 2016.

Aw! I'm sorry to hear you had supply problems. It can be so frustrating and maddening to not be able to breastfeed if you want to. It's sweet of you to think of other mamas! Good luck TTC. Have you read the Breastfeeding Mother's Guide to Making More Milk (http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/007159857X/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1371341711&sr=8-1&pi=SL75) yet? It was an invaluable resource to me when I was trying to map out a plan for breastfeeding my own #2 after having battled supply issues with #1. I think it's a great thing to think ahead and do what you can to maximize your chances for success.

@Mrs. Twine: I've tried it all! Except this. And my doctors all agreed (family dr., OB, and ped) that it was too late by the time I noticed. Next time, I will be proactive.

This is still available, right? I am going to give it 24h for someone who is nursing to swipe it up, before I do!

@Turtledoves; Yes, it is cluttering the office as we speak. I hope it works for you as well as it did for me. It was tremendously helpful!

@Mrs. Twine: give it to me!!! Can you write you PayPal info on my wall so I can pay you please?

I figure, I'll buy it now just in case, and hopefully have #2 next summer. If all goes well and I don't need it, then I will resell it to someone who does need it! Doesn't expire until 2016, so were good!
