Only used once or twice. We just prefer our sound-only monitor!

Yup! Definitely suggest having a phone that has HD viewing capabilities. We used ours with an iPad 2 and the image quality was ok but I bet it would be better if we had a better tablet. You can create streams I think that you can send to people so you could watch it from work, for example. But I think it is limited to two or something. We never used that feature!

@emg86: well we have a graco digital and it is ok but before that we had an angel care but a friends toddler dropped in water! I will probably re-invest in the angelcare if we have another. That monitor is just fantastic if you aren't worried about video.

@Mrs. Sketchbook: I'm afraid I'll have to pass then, madam. We don't have enough devices that would be able to support the camera which means it would be useless if I had to leave the kids with the grandparents
