Anyone have a ring sling they're looking to sell? Or, for that matter, a woven wrap? I'd like to try to expand my baby wearing and thought I'd check here first for something used. Not too certain about what I want except that I'm short (5'2") so something not too long.

Length is 6 feet (which should be perfect for your height if you are average build). I used a handful of times this summer while H was a little guy, but at 4 months and 20 lbs, we switched to the Ergo when I babywear instead.

@HabesBabe: How much were you thinking for the sling? My LOs are almost 5 months old, but only 14 lbs. I'm curious if you thought 20 lbs was too comfortable to wear your LO comfortably? Now I'm wondering if I should stick with the Ergos we have currently. I'm hoping if I get some other baby wearing "device" it will last a long time!

@aegie: How much were you thinking? I like that pattern! What size LO did you use this with / to what weight? I was saying to Habesbabe above that I'm looking for something I can use for quite a while. My LOs are 5 months already, although they are small at 14 lbs.

@twodoghouse: I think it's because he's so... stout? LOL. he's so compact with that much weight, so it was awkward getting him in. Not to mention, I should've gotten a longer sling because I'm chubby myself... so the tail wasn't long enough for me to nurse with him in it.q

@twodoghouse: I'll sell it for $20? I used it maybe a handful of times and then I stopped because my LO liked the k'tan better. But the ring slings are comfortable. My LO used it until she was 4 months. My LO was 7 lbs when she was born and doubled quickly. She was a fatty and it was fine.

So it looks like you have some good options here but I just wanted to chime in and say I
my sling so much! Fia is 14.5 lbs and nowhere close to heavy in the sling. I feel like I can wear her through toddler-hood. I made my RS because the name brand ones are ridiculously spendy and making them is ridiculously easy (like, well under an hour). If you're crafty I could send you some info on how-to. Or if you can't find another option you like I'd be happy to make you one (seriously, it takes me less than a nap to do). The materials (linen and the rings) are like $40 with the shipping costs though, so your options here are a bit cheaper
