I know...this is probably going to be crickets.
But I can't shell out $80 at the moment! mine only charges if I turn/bend/tweak/manipulate the cord JUST.RIGHT. and it's starting to drive me crazy. I found a knock-off on Amazon around $40, but figured I'd try here first!

@sorrycharlie: i had to order a new charger and couldn't swallow the price tag either, so i tried a knock off first. i figured if it didn't work out, i was out $18, if it did, i saved $60! 
i don't LOVE the knock off, it gets scary hot, like it melted the label off, so i don't leave it alone charging and keep it away from little fingers, but i've been using it since january without issue and it has a USB port so you can charge something else at the same time which is nice. here's the link

@sorrycharlie: we had to get a new one for our 2007 macbook pro and this one has worked great for us! make sure you get the correct wattage! we needed 85W and the one @mrs. bird: posted is 60W.

@birdofafeather: i didn't know they had different wattages! does yours get crazy hot? i wonder if the higher wattage gets even hotter
@sorrycharlie: no idea. i had a smaller charger, it broke and apple replaced it with a larger, higher wattage one, but when i went to replace it i didn't care as long as it charged & was cheap
