We are participating in AdoptaPlatoon (thanks @Mrs. Confetti!) and the military member we are paired with would love some girl scout cookies. Anyone have any or be able to get ahold of any? We would love to be able to make his day!

Hm. Unfortunately Girl Scout cookie season is over here. You might have better luck posting on the boards bc the season is different in every state? Or maybe check the Girl Scout website?@Mrs. Twine:

@Mrs. Twine: call your local council! I worked for GS and they always had cookies around for promotional gifts, etc or sale leftovers. I'd bet they'd sell you some given the circumstances.

Thanks all. I contacted the girl scouts, and the final person I talked to was not very nice. So... no cookies? I'll look into the grocery store ones.

@LindsayInNY; I'm actually a little traumatized by the whole thing, to tell the truth. The first person I spoke to was a woman, who was SUPER nice. She referred me to our regional office. The first two times I called they kept giving me different people's voice mails. Finally I got a person who said they had no cookies, but I could post to their facebook page if I wanted. So I called the first (main) office again. A man answered and said, "I heard your conversation with my collegue. You called your local office. Well, that's the best we can do." Delivered in a fairly curt and dismissive tone. I'm scared to call back. What if he taps my phone?! I'm mostly kidding, but it was not a nice experience.

Maybe they get a lot of calls for cookies.I've tried the Keebler knockoffs for Samoas and Thin Mints (I think those are called Grasshoppers?) and they're both awesome!!!

@Mrs. Twine: this thread "inspired" me to try the Keebler knock-offs, and they really do look and taste like the real thing. I heartily endorse them as a Samoa lover! They're called "Coconut Dreams."
