It's really not hard - I got my grandmother's sewing machine when she passed away and was SO intimidated to start even though I grew up watching my Mom sew. I finally watched a few youtube videos and dug in and have had a lot of fun with it!

Everyone says "you can sew a straight line, anyone can do that!" ....tell that to the quilt I tried to make last year. My straight lines are like ~ lol!

@MrsTiz: haha - ok quilts are HARD! That is like measuring, press/ironing/ starching, stitching precisely. This is easy. It doesn't even have to be a straight line, you could probably even staple it

@scg00387: I bought the fabric to make a nursing cover while pregnant & never got around to doing it. almost 10 months later and the fabric is still sitting in a bag. lol
