The RS will be great for fast up/down, you can learn some "poppable" carries with the wrap if you want to, and you can have the wrap for whatever you find it working best for. Those are great wraps for heavier babies and toddlers, hold value well, and are totally indestructible. C&amp;C might also be a good choice. How do you think you will carry them primarily? Hip? Back? Front? For naps? And do you anticipate a lot of up/down? If you are thinking more toddler-wearing than infant wearing, a shorter wrap might be a good choice even as a new wrapper. It's a tough call. I find it uncomfortable to have all of her weight on my shoulder for long periods of time, but I keep it around for errands without a stroller or clingy cooking times. I'd say I can wear her comfortably for 20-30 minutes per shoulder.
