There is a pad on the bottom, it's a thin air mattress. The only difference is that it's not mesh all the way around - it has fabric (black) and then mesh windows like a pack n play does. But it functions the same as the current model the side and top zips, etc. </p> <p>If you are interested I can take pics to show you what great shape it's in but I thought I'd just include the amazon link to see if anyone was interested before getting it out and setting it up. :happy: </p>
