This organic cotton carrier allows for front facing out, facing in, and back carrying. Biggest pros for me were 1. ability to front carry newborn (7.7 lbs) without a separate insert and 2. ability to secure child in harness before back carrying. It was also really easy for both me (5'2") and hubs (6') to adjust for comfortable wear.</p> <p>There is a bit of reading necessary when converting harness positions, but it's a super short learning curve IMO. And LO was truly comfortable in it--no fussing in it like she did with some others--and the ability to change from front in/out and back prolongs the useful life of this carrier. Baby is in a "happy hips" position to protect their developing joints!
