i've read about it on all of the travel posts. we will be baby wearing with our beco and will only be on a two hour flight with our ds who is 8.5 months old next wk.
do you think this is a must have for our short flight?

I got one and used it maybe a couple times in the first few months. I haven't used pillows to BF since month 3 though. I think if you had a regular travel pillow that would be fine.

i don't have one, but i think for a 2-hour flight you could probably skip it.
i was wondering, are you thinking of babywearing DS on the plane so he can nap in the beco, or will you take him out? i know people recommend babywearing when traveling, but i wasn't sure if that was just in the airport or on the actual plane as well.

We've gone on a number of flights with my LO and I never needed the boppy or travel boppy. You won't be able to baby wear for take offs and landings. The last flight we took my LO was 8 months old and she wasn't interested in staying too still. She played with the napkin and little pastic cup we got from beverage service for about the whole time though!

@edelweiss: we'll probably take him out on the flight as i'm planning on boobing it! dh and i have travel neck pillows we always bring so we'll probably use that as @birdofafeather: suggested!

Yeah, I've never felt like I needed a travel Boppy. Especially on a flight that short.
