Are nursing tanks really necessary? I usually wear whatever the two pack of camisoles you can buy at Costco is. I can pop my boobs out pretty easily from them. Do I really need to spend $20 per tank top for a nursing one? Or can someone recommend ones that aren't so expensive?

I liked my Bravado nursing tanks because they had great support and I didn't need to worry about a separate bra!

I have huge boobs so I need lots of support, glamour mom were awesome for me. They are pricey, so they aren't going to save you any money (LOL)

They were essential when I was pumping at work or out in public. If I were a SAHM though I don't think I would have bothered buying as many as I did. -
If you already like wearing tanks, I think you would like the ease of nursing tanks. Buy one or two to start and see what you think. I have converted completely to nursing tanks.

I tried using a regular tank and things just didn't stay in place, especially the nursing pads. Not sure why, since the nursing tanks I looked at and my regular tanks don't seem to be too different. I ended up just buying night time nursing bras and wearing those to bed, with a tank over it sometimes.

I'm 8 weeks into breastfeeding and my nursing tanks have been invaluable. I love the bravado tanks despite the price because they offer the support that I need. I've tried wearing the Costco camisole tanks and they are not supportive at all. They might work if youre smaller, but you dont know how much your boobs will grow or change when nursing. Nursing tanks are so convenient. Sure, you could get by without them, but they make nursing that much easier.

Are there any that aren't $20 a piece? That just seems like a lot to me for a tank top. Maybe I should think of it more as a cheap bra?

I bought a few of the Target ones and it's worked pretty well. They are $20 but it's not bad considering how much some nursing bras cost.

I'm totally with you, those Bravado tanks are *$50* apiece!!
